Shin Tenchi Muyo (Tenchi in Tokyo)

| I didn't particularly
enjoy this one as much as i did the rest of te tenchi series.When i saw
this animation i thought....this isn't tenchi...and when i saw it i was
amazed on how different it was from the OVA and tenchi universe. Tenchi
moves to tokyo to go to school there and train to become a martial artist
there. the charachters were pretty much the same, except washu was ryoko's
partner in being a space pirate. I just did not like that. How can ittle...Washuu!!!!
be a space pirate? Also,ryo-ohki was sasami's pet instead of Ryokos.ryo-ohki
also changed into a giant pink bunny robot,whitch i though was hilarious.
there is no lighthawk wings in this series,but the main weapon is the most
powerful sword,whitch tenchi uses when all the gems are brought together,yet,who
only uses it
once in the series,and not even on the main enemy. the enemy is an evil little girl named yugi(which means play in japanese). she destroyed a portion of jurai,quite like ryoko in the OVA.Tenchi has a girlfriend in this series named sakuya,who is just a fake shadow of Yugi.to me there is two good qualities in this anime.the music is good, and i particularly like the part where tenchi says he's attracted to ryoko,but thats only my opinion. overall,i would not reccomend this anime to you. i'll give it a 5.6 |
