This is one of my favorite
selections of Kenshin because it is told back when Kenshin was known as
the Hitokiri Battousai, he is an amazing fighter even now of course but
in his past he uses these skills as a deadly killer. Kenshin is around
the age of 17 and traveling around basically slaughtering those deemed
as corrupt or evil. His real motives are shrouded in mystery and not many
know much about him. It is in these episodes that Kenshin receives his
scar. I dont want to go into to much detail because it would ruin it for
you, especially the story behind his killer X scar on his cheek so be sure
to check out the fansubs if you can get them or wait till they are commercially
released. The animation is breathtaking and the music fits the mood of
the story perfectly. In fact this is one of my favorite soundtracks. It
has a dark feeling and is very sad but very beautiful at the same time,
if your a lover of anime soundtracks be sure to pick this one up!
If you are a fan of Kenshin you will definitely want to see these! They
are in my opinion the best Rurouni Kenshin has to offer! (course the whole
series rocks ^_^)
