| Well what can I say about
this movie excpet it rocks. It is probably one of if not the best anime
moive I have ever seen. The story is about a young boy named Ashitaka that
lives with a tribe that had been banished from the main part of Japan around
500 years ago. One day an beast godthat had become a demon (also known
as tatarigami) Ashitaka successfully killed the demon but recives a curse
and is forced to abandon his tribe forever. Ashitaka is now on a quest
to free himself. Hsi quest soon leads him to the city of Tataraba and the
forest of the Shishigami where he encounters San (Princess Mononoke) who
has been raised by the wolf Moro in the forest of the Shishigami. Ok well
I'm going to stop right there don't want to spoil the rest of the story.
Poor Greg Thomas he missed it in the Theaters everyone send him e-mail
to show you you feel for him.
Anyway, I must say the animation is absolutlely maybe the best I have ever seen. The music is a masterpiece of the classical genre it fits the scenes perfectly Joe Hisashi did it again. The story flawless and extremely powerful Overall the must see Anime Movie of the Century.  |
