| This series is excellent.
I love it. It feature Megumi Hayashibara(Lina :Slayers and Rei: Evangelion,
Lime: Saber Marionette J) as the voice of Canal. The story is about Kane
Blueriver and trouble contractor and Millie a soon to be ex detective that
joins up with Kane. Oh and don’ forget Canal the main computer of the ship
Swordbreaker. The series sues sate of the art computer animation to draw
the movement of the ships. Don’t’ worry the ships aren’t cg in fact nothing
is the computers are used to move the ships and simply animate some of
the movements. Some people would call this the Slayers meets space. The
story picks up with Kane infiltrating this base to retrieve an item that is was stolen and is going to be auctioned off. The two of them soon get into trouble and Millie is going to get auctioned off. Kane rescues Millie. Then the 2 of them come face to face with the Militaries newest mech. Kane makes short use of it using his psi blade a weapon the requires great mental strength and energy to use. The sword breaker is one of the coolest ships ever. It’s main gun is extremely sweet. It turns out that the Swordbreaker is a lost ship and blows the pant off of any ship made by anybody. The only thing that can compare to it are other lost ships. The story is good so far. Like most Anime’s it starts of slow introducing the characters and there personalities. The last episode that I saw was jsut introducing the main villains and the plot lien that will dominate this 26 episode TV series. If you liked Slayers and love sci-fi then this is your anime. Also the opening song infinity by Megumi Hayashibara is amazing.  |
