This series looks very promising
it is written by the same guy that did Evangelion and produced by Gainax
studios. This series is definitely influenced by another one of My fav
series Kodomo No Omocha or child’s toy. The English translation of Kareshi
Kanojo Jiyou is His and her Circumstances. This series is about Miyazawa
Yukino. She is jsut a normal high school girl. Who is very concerned about
what other think of her ( can you say Asuka.) Ever since Kindergarten she
has tried to be perfect popular and everyone’s idol. When in reality she
is actually a lazy slob. Then when she reaches high school Arima Soujiro
appears he becomes really popular and everyone likes him a lot. Miyazawa
then decides that she will destroy him. This then brings up questions about
who she really is and why she is false. The first episode was \ I should
be getting a bunch more soon. So this review will change based an the next
eps I see. But the animation is amazing what would you expect form Gainax.
The theme song is also great. I have no idea what it’s called but it fits
the series so perfectly. Much like Cruel Angel’s Thesis fits Eva and you
get to burning fits Nadesico. I give it thumbs up and everyone should check
it out.
