Plot: Our main character
Kazuya is developing a robot called Doraemon, he
rents a room that in a apartment
with the manager being a girl who has
feelings for him. One day
his self proclaimed friend who's incredible
obnoxious gives him a cd
which ends up having a virus. While trying to stop
it he somehow ends up ordering
a tiny robot called May.
Review: All right, after
being told how good this anime is on the message
board here saying that it's
also packed full of fan service I decided to get
it from my friend. After
watching the very first show I simply wasn't
impressed. The show didn't
have as much fan service as I expected since only
the first episode had it
and from the opening you'd think otherwise. Almost
every character was INCREDIBLY
annoying, right off the bat you'll hate the
antagonist as he is always
ranting about Kazuya, than there's the other
robot trying to get May
back who always eats noodles, than there's the other
maid who always says "ara"
which really gets on your nerves, than there...
and the list goes on!
Music: No memorable tracks
here and I can't say anything about the openings
and ending as they were
cut from my eps, it's simply average. Nothing like
what you'd get from Vandread
or Escaflowne (i hate using Escaflowne as a
comparison for music, everyone
does.).
Animation: While everything
was nice and bring and the animation was good I
wasn't impressed by the
character designs. There was nothing special about
them and they were boring
to me.
Overall: The show is just
average, it has a bit of fan service in the first
episode and a bit more in
the end but I found my self drifting off in some
parts. Paired with boring
character designs and annoying character designs
only get this if you really
want to see it. There's simply too much anime
out there that is
better than this that you shouldn't waste your time.
Rating: 6.5/10
+ : fan service, short story
(not dragged out), animation is better than
most other shows
- : antagonist, very annoying
characters, music not too great, dull at times
