Heres one I'd love to have done a review on earlier but its just so hard to get! (still waiting on my HK DVD set) but I've managed to get around 16 episodes downloaded so I can finally give up a descent review and I've got to say minus the fact that the animation is dated (but of course I mean this is from the early 80's for craps sakes!) but this is THE best Gundam there is in my opinion. There are so many twists/turns and a mountain of plot on this show its just unbelievable. Not going to even start mentioning things because I don’t wanna ruin it. But basically lets just say we see some of the famous faces from Mobile Suit Gundam helping out with a new set of characters. We get some great mecha starting with one of my favs the Gundam MKII going up to the highly popular Zeta Gundam. In this series we have the Titans who were created by the Federation to "keep the peace" in the space colonies and watch for growing revolts (as they saw in Gundam Stardust memory 0083 where if you've seen that show you'll see the titan creation at the end) however the Titans have become a bit overpowering, including wiping out a whole colony using poisonous gas! Due to this increasing threat known as the Titan the A.E.U.G is formed. In this group you'll see people in disguise (ok ok everyone can tell that Lt. Quattro or whatever is obviously Char Aznable but still that’s the only one I'll let slip) the new young newtype Camille who has great promise and is also our star for this show. And I gotta say there is SO much death in this show! Its seen as the darkest of all Gundams and with good reason. I can't really say much more then that all I can say is if you can't wait get ahold of the HK DVD set otherwise I believe Bandai announced they have started subbing/dubbing this one so hopefully we'll see a domestic release soon!
