| This is the series that
got me on my big Gundam Kick. The story takesplace in the year UC 0083
after the one year war with the republic of Zeon. A new Gundam project
has been started and the remaining forces of the republic of Zeon
are about the make there come back by Stealing the new Gundam Unit-02 with
its nuclear capabilities. The Zeon forces are lead by ace pilot Anavel
Gato and Admiral Aguile Delaz. During the theft of Gundam Unit-02
a young ensign Kou Uraki rashly jumps into Gundam Unit-01 to battle Gato.
Gato soon escapes the Earth. Kou and his friend Keith Kachuk are assigned
to the ship Albion it’s mission to retrieve Gundam Unit 2 before the nuke
can be used. The animation in Gundam is amazing especially considering
when it was made (1990) There is also a large cast of characters. The characters
back plots are never
really delved into but they are all very complete characters. The story is excellent. 0083 is considered by most people to be the most epic Gundam of all. The soundtrack is also great both of the openings and Ending are great my personal fav is the first one The Winner. Gundam 0083 is a must have for any Gundam fan. This series kicked off my great interest in Gundam. It’s something every anime fan should have but I recommend getting the 3 Gundam movies first. And this story \ enough plot twists and secrets to satisfy everyone  |
