| Fushigi Yugi is a good anime. It has pretty much all the factors it takes to be a good anime, including, gore, emotion, and good animation. This is one of the best anime's I've ever seen. It's about this girl who goes into the restricted area of the library. In there she finds a book called "The Universe of the Four Gods". When she starts to read it, she gets sucked into the book. There she meets this guy called Tamahome. On his fore head there is a chinese word that reads ogre/ghost. He saves her from being attacked several times before joining her. She then wanders to the emporers keep in the strangest way(you'll find out about it if you watch the series) and she finds the emporer also has a chinese word written on his body. She then finds out she is the maiden for the god of the east. She is the Maiden of Suzaku. She has to collect the 7 warriors of Suzaku and she will be granted 3 wishes which will give the city harmony. So she goes off in search of the 7 warriors. The series lasts longer than it seems for a mishap that you will find out about if you watch it. I give it a 10/10 for good anime. |
