This series is something I really like (although some seem to hate it) it mixes many series all in one, lets say its a cross between Tenchi Muyo, El Hazard, and Evangelion all rolled in one. We have our main character   who is just a normal school boy. However for some reason he sees giant robots rampaging and destroying the city in huge battles! Only they are not really there and only he can see them. Later we discover he can actually see an alternate or “Dual” reality. Later he visits the father of one of his schoolmates who actually ends up sending him to this alternate universe! Now our hero becomes the pilot of one of the very robots he used to watch in battle. Now our Tenchi reality comes in as he seems to be the ladies man. Even older women seem to go after him! And of course every male at the school is rather jealous of his luck. The alternate reality really is strange also in that they battle for land against the RR corporation and the battles are usually non lethal as you can surrender and just lose the land rather than your life. The characters are likable and it has its share of comedy. I really like the professor in this series as in the alternate reality he is the commander of the defense force against RR. The real interesting twist is how supposedly these robots can ONLY be controlled by women :P so of course the fact that  … can control one has everyone in an uproar.

Dual! Parallel Universe

Dual! Paralell Adventers is a comedy/ action anime made by AIC, makers of El hazard, Oh! My Goddess!, and one of it's main ones this anime resembles upon, Tenchi Muyo. A slightly nerdy and normal guy named Kazuki bcomes the love interest of a series of incredible attractive women, and ends up living with each and every one. The character's are pretty much unique except for Kazkuki who Vaguely resmbles tenchi masaki from tenchi series and Mitsuki also resembles Relena Peacecraft from Gundam Wing. It's like a parody of EVA to me, since to robots are almost completely the same as the EVA units in Neon Genesis Evangelion.
Kazuki has a stange but unique sixth sense at the beginning of the series whitch turns out to be deja vu later on in the series. He sees ghostly mecha fighting in his dreams constantly.
Before long, he finds himself in a parrallel version of his own world, only this time the mecha are very real. Here as well, we're treated to some strange, vaguely disturbing images of the "war" in this world. The Evangelion parallel is rather obvious--our protagonist has a similar, slightly numb air to him, there are ill-understood EVA-styled robots battling in eerily empty cities, and several other characters also have Evangelion parallels. But once things start to come into focus, it becomes clear that this is as much an Evangelion parody as a Pioneer take on it. This parallel world is plenty strange, but not in the way you'd think--the epic war turns out to be kind of pathetic, and although there is some emotional wrestling about how to handle the situation, as much of the human drama turns out to be whose cooking Kazuki will decide to eat at dinner. Then again, the human drama is backed by lots of Pioneer's trademark weird and wild plot, doled out in vague hints and partially explained fragments as the story progresses, which held my interest. Of course, it's fundamentally all pretty silly, and nothing ever does get explained completely, but it's still fun to piece things together from the hints.
I very much enjoyed the series and thought it was very funny and energetic. I think people should check out this anime, because it is worth seeing in my opinion.
